Contacts (Menu 2)

You can save names and phone numbers in the phone’s
memory (internal phone book) and in the SIM card’s memory
(external phone book). The internal phone book can save up to 50 names. To
access the phone book, press

Menu

and select

Contacts

.

Select

Search

to search for the numbers or names you require.

1. Key in the first character(s) of the name you are looking for, and press

Search

.

2. Press

or

to find the desired name.

If names or phone numbers are saved in the SIM card memory,

is

shown at the upper right corner of the display; if they are stored in the
phone’s internal memory,

is shown.

Add contact

to store names and phone numbers in the internal or SIM phone

book.

Delete

to remove names and phone numbers from the selected phone book one

by one (

One by one

) or all at once (

Delete all

). You need to provide the security

code to delete all at once. For more information about the security code, see

Note that by selecting

Delete all

when

, all the names and numbers saved in the phone memory will be

Edit

to modify the saved names and phone numbers.

to copy names and phone numbers all at once (

) from the phone to the SIM card, or vice versa. If the name already is in the

target phone book with a different phone number, an ordinal number is added
to the end of the name.

Assign tone

to set the phone to play the desired ringing tone when you receive

a call from a particular phone number. Select the desired phone number or
name and press

Assign

. Note that this function only works when the network

is able to identify the caller’s number and send it to your phone.

Send phone no.

to send a person’s contact information as a business card to a

compatible device as a message (network service).

to adjust the phonebook settings:

No. screening

to view and edit the list of senders’ phone numbers, from whom

messages and phone calls will be filtered. The filtered messages are saved
directly to the

Screened messages

folder (see

The incoming calls from the numbers in this list activate no ring tones or
vibrating, no matter what mode your phone is currently set in. If you do not
answer these phone calls, they will be stored in the

Missed calls

folder under

Call register

.

Service Nos.

to call the service numbers of your service provider if the numbers

are included in your SIM card.

Info numbers

to call the information numbers of your service provider if the

numbers are included in your SIM card.
